The VinCaB Kosovo team is back to the Balkans! Not in Kosovo, though, this time were in Zagreb, Croatia, where we and the team members of the other VinCaB sub-projects are meeting for an evaluation workshop. The aim of the workshop is to distill lessons learned from the individual sub-projects in Costa Rica, Paraguay, Colombia, and Kosovo.

The Workshop that takes place in the beautifully located Red Cross training center of the Croatian Red Cross in Sljeme, where from July 19th to 22nd we’ll discuss our recommendations for the future EU Aid Volunteers (EAV). During the first day, we met again the friends we made last year November in Oberwinter, where we had our training sessions for the project.

Apart from general catching up, today we made some first presentations on our projects and identified some key experiences and achievements. Over the next days we will not only present our projects more thoroughly, but also work with an external evaluator to finalize a report for the European Union.

Hopefully our experiences will help in the creation of the future EAV!
